ISR Performance Stainless Steel Oil Pan - Nissan SR20DET S13/S14

The ISR Performance stainless steel oil pan for the SR20DET S13 and S14 240SX increases oil capacity and keeps the pickup submerged when the car is loaded up in a corner. It is a precision TIG welded stainless pan offered as an inexpensive alternative to other brands, and ISR recommends it as an upgrade on all SR20DET engines.

Construction and oil control

• Precision TIG welded stainless steel
• Recessed area in the bottom of the pan for better oil pickup
• Internal baffles that keep the same oil pickup during hard cornering
• Auxiliary 1/8 PT port for an oil temperature sensor
• Greater capacity than the factory pan

Why upgrade the SR20DET pan

The stock SR pan is a shallow stamped piece with no real baffling, so sustained lateral load on sticky tires can pull oil away from the pickup. Momentary starvation under those conditions is hard on rod bearings. A baffled, higher capacity pan addresses both the volume and the sloshing problem, and the recessed floor gives the pickup a consistent supply.

This listing is the bare stainless version. ISR also produced the same pan in plated gold zinc.

Install notes

The 1/8 PT port accepts a standard oil temp sender; plug it if you are not running one. Plan on fresh sealant and a full oil change, since the added capacity changes your fill volume.
