ISR Performance Stainless Steel Downpipe - Nissan SR20DET S13/S14

The ISR Performance stainless steel downpipe for the Nissan SR20DET fits the S13 and S14 240SX and replaces the factory downpipe with a stainless piece designed to carry exhaust from the O2 housing back toward the catalytic converter or test pipe with as little restriction as possible.

The downpipe's job

On a turbocharged SR, the downpipe is the first big section of pipe after the turbine. Whatever restriction lives there is felt directly by the turbo as backpressure, which slows spool and limits top end power. The stock downpipe was built to package tightly and keep the car quiet, not to flow. A dedicated aftermarket downpipe straightens out that path and is one of the most effective exhaust upgrades on an SR20DET.

Install considerations

Check the flange on your O2 housing to confirm it matches the downpipe inlet before ordering, and plan to use fresh gaskets at both ends. Check clearance to the steering shaft, transmission and heat shields during test fit. Finish the install by connecting to a test pipe or high flow cat and a 3 inch catback to make use of the extra flow.
