ISR Performance OE Replacement RWD SR20DET Oil Pump Front Cover O-Ring

The ISR Performance OE replacement oil pump front cover O-ring seals the oil pump and front cover assembly on the Nissan RWD SR20DET. The front cover carries the oil pump on this engine, so the O-ring sits in the pressurized oil path. A hardened or nicked O-ring leaks oil at the front of the block and can bleed pressure before it reaches the bearings.

Jobs that call for it

Timing chain replacement, oil pump replacement or front cover reseals all require removing the cover, and a new O-ring is mandatory on reassembly. It is one of several front end seals ISR offers for the SR20DET, alongside the front main seal and tensioner gasket.

Install tip

Seat the O-ring fully in its groove with a light film of clean oil, make sure it does not twist as the cover goes on, and prime the pump before first start.
