ISR Performance OE Replacement Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) Gasket - RWD SR20DET S13

The ISR Performance OE replacement idle air control valve (IACV) gasket seals the IACV to the intake on the S13 RWD SR20DET. It is a small gasket, but a leak here lets unmetered air into the plenum and shows up as a hunting or surging idle that no amount of adjusting will cure.

When to replace it

Any time the idle air control valve comes off for cleaning, which is a routine SR20DET maintenance item, the gasket should be renewed. The originals go brittle after years of heat cycling and rarely survive removal intact. Keeping one on hand before you pull the valve avoids a trip back to the parts counter mid-job.
