ISR Performance Inner Steering Tie Rods - Nissan 350z

ISR Performance inner tie rods for the Nissan 350Z are OE style replacements for the worn factory inners on the Z33 chassis. Inner tie rods wear with mileage and hard driving, and once the ball socket loosens the result is vague on-center steering, a wandering feel over bumps and faster tire wear from toe that will not stay put. Replacing them restores a tight connection between the rack and the outer tie rods.

Install notes

Inner tie rods thread into the steering rack behind the boots, so you will need an inner tie rod tool or a suitable wrench to reach the flats. Count the threads on the old rod before removal so the new one can be set to the same length, then have the toe set on an alignment rack. It is a good time to inspect the rack boots and replace them if they are torn, since a split boot lets grit into the rack and shortens the life of the new rods.
