ISR Performance Tie Rod Ends - Nissan 240sx

The ISR Performance tie rod ends for the Nissan 240SX are built for cars that ask more of their steering than a stock outer tie rod can deliver, especially lowered cars and drift cars with angle kits. They are made of strengthened steel with a solid shank for improved durability, and they come with spacers that allow you to adjust bump steer.

Why bump steer adjustment matters

Lowering a 240SX changes the angle of the tie rod relative to the lower control arm, so the toe changes as the suspension moves. That shows up as a car that darts over bumps and feels nervous under braking. The spacers included with these tie rod ends let you raise or lower the outer pivot to bring the tie rod back in line with the control arm and settle the steering down.

Fitment

• Nissan 240SX S14: works with OEM or aftermarket S14 tie rods
• Nissan 240SX S13: must be used with S14 OEM or aftermarket inner tie rods

Install note

S13 owners should plan on pairing these with S14-style inner tie rods, such as ISR's own inner tie rods for the 240SX. Set the bump steer spacers with the car at ride height, check toe through the travel, and finish with an alignment.
