ISR Performance Inner Tie Rods - Nissan 240sx

Factory inner tie rods on a Nissan 240SX limit how many turns the steering wheel can make and bend or fail when a drift car is run hard on angle. The ISR Performance inner tie rods for the 240SX are strengthened for improved durability and increase steering angle at full lock, which is why ISR calls them a must-have for drifting.

What's different from stock

OEM-style inner tie rods offer only limited steering wheel rotation. The ISR inner tie rods allow for increased rotations, so the rack can travel further and the knuckles can reach more angle. They are designed as a stronger and more reliable upgrade compared to the OEM inner tie rod.

• ISR Performance tie rod: 10 9/16 in long, 0.550 in thick
• Includes an additional 1/4 in slip-on rack spacer

The thicker shaft resists bending at lock, and the extra length plus the rack spacer are what deliver the added rotation.

Install tips

Count the turns of thread engagement on each side when removing the old rods so you have a starting point for toe. After installation, confirm the rack boots clear the spacer, check for tire contact at full lock in both directions, and get the car aligned.
