ISR Performance Hotpipe - Plain - Nissan SR20DET S13

The ISR Performance plain hot pipe for the Nissan S13 SR20DET is the turbo-side charge pipe that carries compressed air from the turbo outlet to the front mount intercooler inlet. This is the plain version with no blow off valve flange, for builders who either run their valve elsewhere, plan to weld on a flange of their own, or simply need to replace a damaged hot pipe.

Why the Hot Pipe Matters

The hot pipe lives in the tightest, hottest corner of the engine bay, right off the turbo and next to the exhaust manifold. It needs to be rigid, heat tolerant and shaped to snake past the steering and frame rail. Fabricating one from scratch is the most time-consuming part of a custom intercooler install, which is why a bolt-in piece is worth having.

Fitment

Nissan 240SX S13 with the SR20DET engine in the factory turbo position. Matches ISR front mount intercooler piping for the S13.

Install Notes

If you later decide you want a flange, ISR sells HKS, Greddy and Tial pattern weld-on flange kits that can be added to this pipe. Check clearance to the exhaust manifold and heat shield, and consider wrapping or shielding the pipe if it sits close to the turbine housing.
