ISR Performance High Pressure Power Steering Line - Nissan 240sx 89-98

The factory high pressure power steering line on a 240SX is a multi-piece hard line and hose assembly that gets in the way the moment you start routing a larger intake pipe. The ISR Performance high pressure power steering line for the 1989 to 1998 Nissan 240SX replaces that entire run from the steering rack to the pump with a single aftermarket line that frees up room on the intake side of the bay.

What It Does for You

• Replaces the OEM multi-piece high pressure line from the steering rack to the pump.
• Works for DOHC KA24DE engines and SR20DET swaps.
• Makes installing and routing the intake pipe much easier, especially with larger turbo inlet and intake kits.
• Tidies up a corner of the engine bay that is usually a tangle of brackets and hard line.

Compatibility

Nissan 240SX 1989 to 1998 (S13 and S14) with DOHC KA24DE or an SR20DET swap. The line ties into the power steering pump and rack on these chassis.

Install Notes

Drain and flush the power steering fluid before removal, and keep the old line handy until the new one is routed to confirm clearance against the intake and belt area. Bleed the steering system by cycling lock to lock with the front wheels off the ground after refilling. Replacement -6AN fitting with o-ring for this line is also available separately.
