ISR Performance Driveshaft – LS Swap 350Z- T56 - Steel

The ISR Performance steel driveshaft for a T56-equipped LS swap in the Nissan 350Z gets power from the GM transmission to the Z33 differential without a custom driveshaft order. It is made to suit the transmission position set by the ISR LS swap mounts and is sized for the T56 output, which sits differently from the factory Nissan gearbox.

Steel construction

A steel driveshaft gives up some weight to aluminum but gains toughness and a lower cost. For a 350Z that will see street driving, drift days or the occasional rough surface, the resistance to dents and the long service life of steel are hard to argue with.

Fitment

Nissan 350Z with an LS engine swap using a T56 transmission on ISR LS swap mounts. If you are keeping the Nissan CD00x 6 speed through the ISR transmission adapter, order the Z6MT version instead.

Install notes

Install at ride height so you can check driveline angles, confirm the slip yoke engagement and verify clearance to the tunnel and exhaust through full suspension travel. Torque the differential flange bolts to spec and recheck after the first drive.
