Application

Symptoms of a Failing Master

• Pedal sinks or feels spongy
• Difficulty getting into first or reverse at a stop
• Fluid loss with no visible leak at the slave cylinder
• Fluid weeping into the cabin behind the pedal

Installation Tips

Bench bleed the master before fitting it to shorten the bleeding process. Replace the fluid in the whole system, inspect the clutch line and the slave cylinder while you have it apart, and bleed carefully until the pedal is firm. If the pedal bushings are worn, the J Replace clutch pedal assembly is a logical companion to this master cylinder.
