ISR Performance Worm Drive Clamp - 2.75"

The ISR Performance 2.75 inch worm drive clamp is a worm gear hose clamp in the size that matches ISR's 2.75 inch aluminum intake tubes and the couplers that connect them. If you are assembling an SR20DET intake, replacing one of the four clamps from the ISR intake kit, or working with 2.75 inch piping anywhere else, this is the correct size.

The 2.75 Inch Size

2.75 inches is a slightly less common size than 2.5 or 3 inches, and hardware store clamps labeled for one or the other often do not sit right on a 2.75 inch coupler. Having the exact size keeps the band centered on the coupler and avoids the over-tightened, distorted clamp that eventually leaks air into the intake.

Compatibility

Universal. For 2.75 inch couplers on intake tubes, charge pipes and similar plumbing. 2.5 inch and 3 inch versions are listed separately.

Usage Notes

Tighten gradually and evenly, and recheck after the engine has warmed and cooled once. On the intake side, a loose clamp behind the MAF lets unmetered air in and shows up as a rough idle.
