ISR Performance Universal Exhaust Silencer - 3"

The ISR Performance Universal Exhaust Silencer in the 3 inch size is a removable insert for taming the volume of a loud exhaust when you need it. Straight-through race systems and large single-tip mufflers sound great on track, but there are days when a quieter car is the better choice: a sound-limited track event, a long highway trip, or simply keeping the peace at home. Dropping a silencer into the tip gives you that option without pulling the exhaust apart.

What it does

The silencer sits inside the exhaust outlet and reduces the open area the exhaust gas passes through, cutting both volume and some of the rasp at the tailpipe. It is a universal part, so it is sized by exhaust diameter rather than by vehicle.

Sizing

• Sized for 3 inch exhaust tips and muffler outlets
• Works with 3 inch systems from ISR and other brands with a compatible tip inside diameter
• A 4 inch version is listed separately for larger tips

Fitting tips

Measure the inside diameter of your tip before ordering, since tip wall thickness varies between exhausts. Because it is removable, you can install it for the week and pull it before a track day when you want the full sound back.
