ISR Performance Titanium Turbo Blanket - T25/T28

The ISR Performance titanium turbo blanket for T25 and T28 turbos is cut to fit the smaller turbine housings used on the factory SR20DET turbo and the popular T28 upgrades, rather than a generic size that bunches up and leaves gaps. A titanium fiber outer layer handles the surface temperatures a turbine housing sees without breaking down.

Fitment

T25 and T28 turbos, including the stock SR20DET T25 and T28, the ISR RST25 replacement turbo, GT2560R, GT28RS, GT2871R and similar T28 framed units. For larger T3 housings, choose the ISR universal T3 turbo blanket.

Why It Helps on an SR

The bottom mount SR20DET turbo sits close to the intake manifold, oil filter and brake lines, so heat soak is a real issue in traffic and after a hard run. A fitted blanket cuts that heat transfer noticeably and protects nearby components.

Install

Install on a cold turbo, wrap the blanket around the turbine housing, and secure it with the attached fasteners, keeping it clear of the wastegate actuator and the turbine outlet flange.
