ISR Performance 1.6L Turbo Kit With RS T25/28 Turbo - 1989-1993 Mazda Miata

The ISR Performance 1.6L turbo kit for the 1989 to 1993 NA Mazda Miata is a complete bolt-on package built around the ISR RS T25/28 turbocharger. It is one of the most comprehensive NA Miata turbo kits available, bringing manifold, turbo, intercooler, piping, downpipe, intake and all oil and water plumbing together so you are not sourcing pieces from five vendors.

Kit Engineering

• Fully tubular schedule 10 bottom mount turbo manifold designed to resist cracking
• 304 stainless steel exhaust components
• Sized for compact T25/T28 GT style turbochargers
• Chassis specific intercooler with a custom mounting bracket
• Fully polished aluminum intercooler piping
• AN oil feed and water lines, plus an AN turbo drain line with aluminum weld bung for the factory oil pan
• Modular hotpipe compatible with ISR, HKS, GReddy and TiAL flanges (flanges sold separately)

Vehicle Fitment

1989 to 1993 Mazda Miata NA with the 1.6L engine. The kit is designed with aftermarket ECUs and MAP sensors in mind, so plan your engine management accordingly.

Installation Notes

A 2.5 inch hole must be drilled for intercooler pipe routing. The oil drain bung needs to be welded into the factory oil pan. Since the intake deletes the airflow meter, a standalone or piggyback ECU with a MAP sensor is required for proper fueling under boost.
