ISR Performance Drift Knob Button - Nissan 240sx - Gold

The ISR Performance drift knob button in gold is a replacement for the factory handbrake release button on the Nissan 240SX. Swapping to a drift button lets you pull the stock e-brake lever and have it drop straight back down without the ratchet locking, so the handbrake becomes a momentary control rather than a parking brake.

Why a Drift Button

On a budget drift car that still runs the factory cable handbrake, the ratchet is the enemy. Every pull locks the lever and forces you to press the button to release it, which is one more thing to do mid-corner. A drift button holds the pawl out of engagement so the lever returns on its own. When you do want it to lock for parking, you press the button in and it works like stock.

Fitment

Nissan 240SX factory handbrake lever, S13 and S14. Cars that have converted to a hydraulic handbrake do not need this part.

Install Notes

Pull the factory button and spring, fit the drift button in its place and confirm the lever drops freely when released and still locks when the button is pushed. The same button is offered in silver.
