ISR Performance - RSX2860 Turbo - Bolt on cover

The ISR Performance RSX2860 turbo with bolt-on T28 cover is a drop-in replacement for the factory T28 on the SR20DET, and it also suits bottom mount SR and KA setups that are retiring a stock T25 or T28. The 2860 style wheel package supports roughly 300 to 350 wheel horsepower, with quick spool and a big top end gain over the factory unit. Because the turbine housing keeps the factory T28 flange and outlet, the SR20DET turbo upgrade works with the stock manifold, downpipe, and oil and water lines, so no custom fabrication is required.

Construction and Specifications

• Dual ball bearing center section with dual step gap rings, balanced to within OEM specifications
• Billet compressor wheel: 44 mm inducer, 60 mm exducer
• Turbine wheel: 53 mm inducer, 46 mm exducer
• Compressor housing: .42 A/R, bolt-on style, 2 bolt inlet, 3 bolt outlet
• Turbine housing: T2 flange, .64 A/R, GT 5 bolt discharge flange
• Oil feed thread: 7/16-24
• Oil drain: GT style (part number IS-GTDRN)

Oil Restrictor Requirement

This turbo requires an oil restrictor of .036 to .040 inch. A -3AN restrictor comes pre-installed and torqued, and ISR recommends running it as supplied. If you replace it, the correct I.F. style restrictor is necessary to protect the ball bearing cartridge.

Direct fit for the factory T28 position on the SR20DET. Also a bottom mount upgrade option for SR and KA engines replacing a T25 or T28 turbo. Sized for builds targeting 300 to 350 wheel horsepower with supporting fuel and tuning.
