ISR Performance RS TD05HR 20G Turbocharger for Genesis 2.0T upgrade

The ISR Performance RS TD05HR 20G turbocharger is a bolt-on power upgrade for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T that uses an upgraded 20G compressor wheel with a factory style turbine wheel in compact Evo 9 style compressor and turbine housings. The result is a wider power band than a stock 16G while keeping the quick spool that makes a street turbo car fun to drive, and it replaces the need to hunt down used Evo 9 turbos.

• Internal wastegate actuator set to 1.2 bar / 18 psi

Fitment Requirement

This turbo requires the ISR Performance EVO 8/9 bolt-on turbo upgrade for the Genesis Coupe 2.0T. It will not bolt on to the factory Genesis 2.0T turbo manifold. The ISR manifold, turbo lines and O2 housing are sold separately and are needed to complete the installation.

Why a 20G in Evo Housings

The Evo 8/9 flange pattern opens the Genesis 2.0T up to a well proven family of turbos. Keeping the stock style turbine wheel and the 10.5cm housing holds spool close to where the factory setup lives, while the larger 20G compressor moves more air up top. For a tuned Genesis on the ISR manifold it is a straightforward, cost effective step above a used 16G.

Install Notes

Prime the oil feed before first start, confirm coolant lines are routed to allow thermal siphoning, and retune for the new compressor. Actuator pressure is preset, so boost control above 18 psi needs an external controller.
