ISR Performance Pro Series Offset Angled Front Tension Control Rods - Nissan 240sx 89-94 S13
Angle-chasing S13 drivers know the routine: install knuckles, add rack spacers, then find the tire sitting on the tension rod at full lock. The ISR Performance Pro Series offset angled front tension control rods for the 1989-1994 Nissan 240SX S13 were designed for exactly that situation. The new angled and offset rod body provides added wheel clearance so the steering can reach greater angle before anything makes contact.
What the angle buys you
By bending the rod away from the inner sidewall, ISR frees up the space the tire needs to swing through at lock. You keep full caster adjustment, so this rod does the job of the standard Pro tension rod and adds clearance on top. On a drift car it can mean the difference between using your angle kit and being limited by a rod.
Pro Series improvements
ISR introduced the Pro Series as a higher end line after years of success with the basic Street Series arms. Compared to those, the Pro rods have:
- Japanese spherical rod bearings
- Larger rod ends
- Rod end dust boots
- Thicker materials
- Added bracing
Proven under load
These are the same arms used on Patrick Goodin's professional Formula Drift race car, where they handle the abuse of 1000+hp.
Fits
- 1989-1994 Nissan 240SX (S13 chassis)
Usage
Suited to street and track use. Pair with a proper alignment after install, and check tire-to-rod clearance at full lock in both directions once ride height is final.
All ISR Performance products are designed for off-road use only.
