ISR Performance Front Tension Control Rods - Nissan 240sx 89-94 S13

ISR Performance front tension control rods for the 1989 to 1994 Nissan 240SX S13 replace the factory tension rods and their large rubber bushings with adjustable rods. The tension rod anchors the lower control arm against braking loads and sets front caster, and the soft factory bushings deflect under hard braking and cornering, letting the geometry shift when you least want it.

Why S13 owners upgrade tension rods

Adjustable tension rods let you add caster, which improves straight line stability and gives the front end more self-centering feel, a trait drift drivers rely on for quick, consistent counter-steer. Removing the compliant bushings also makes the steering feel more direct and keeps the wheel from shifting in the wheel well under braking.

Fitment
