ISR Performance Couplers and Clamps - T-Bolt Hose Clamp - 3.00"+8mm

Sized for 3 inch piping with a silicone coupler in place, the ISR Performance 3.00 inch plus 8mm T-bolt hose clamp is the clamp to use on 3 inch intercooler piping, intake tubes and turbo inlets. The 8mm of additional range is there for the coupler wall thickness, so this clamp goes over a 3 inch coupler rather than directly on 3 inch pipe. At this diameter the force pushing on a joint under boost is considerable, which is exactly why a wide-band T-bolt clamp that can be torqued properly is worth using over a worm-gear clamp that slips and cuts.

Compatibility

Universal. For 3.00 inch OD tubing with a standard-wall silicone coupler, including ISR's 3.00 inch straight, 45 degree and 90 degree couplers and the 3 inch leg of the 2.25 to 3.00, 2.50 to 3.00, 2.75 to 3.00, 3.00 to 3.50 and 3.00 to 4.00 inch reducers and reducer elbows. Sold as a single clamp.

Usage

Seat the clamp over solid pipe behind the bead and tighten evenly until the silicone is firmly compressed, then recheck after the first drive. Beaded pipe ends are strongly recommended on 3 inch pressurized joints. Shipping weight is roughly 1 lb.
