ISR Performance Couplers and Clamps - T-Bolt Hose Clamp - 2.50"+8mm

This ISR Performance T-bolt hose clamp is sized at 2.50 inch plus 8mm, which makes it the matching clamp for a silicone coupler on 2.5 inch piping. Since 2.5 inch is the size most 240SX intercooler kits are built around, this is the clamp you will need the most of on an SR20DET or KA24DE-T turbo build. The added 8mm covers the coupler wall so the clamp tightens in the middle of its range rather than at the end of it. A T-bolt clamp holds torque under boost far better than a worm-gear clamp and does not cut into the silicone.

Compatibility

Universal. For 2.50 inch OD tubing fitted with a silicone coupler, including ISR's 2.50 inch straight, 45 degree and 90 degree couplers and the 2.5 inch leg of the 2.25 to 2.50, 2.50 to 2.75, 2.50 to 3.00 and 2.00 to 2.50 inch reducers. Sold individually; a straight coupler needs two.

Install notes

Seat the clamp on the coupler over solid pipe, behind any bead, and tighten until the silicone is firmly compressed. Recheck torque after the first drive. Packaged weight is close to 1 lb.
