ISR Performance Couplers and Clamps - T-Bolt Hose Clamp - 2.25"+8mm

ISR Performance's T-bolt hose clamp for 2.25 inch piping is sized with an extra 8mm of range so it closes correctly over a silicone coupler on 2.25 inch pipe. If you are running a 2.25 inch straight coupler, or the 2.25 inch end of one of ISR's reducers, this is the clamp that matches it. Compared with a worm-gear clamp, the T-bolt band is wider, applies pressure evenly, and can be torqued properly, which is what keeps a charge pipe in place when boost and heat are working to push it off.

Fits

Universal part for 2.25 inch OD tubing with a standard-wall silicone coupler installed. Matches ISR's 2.25 inch straight coupler and the 2.25 inch leg of the 2.00 to 2.25, 2.25 to 2.50, 2.25 to 3.00 and 2.25 to 2.50 inch 90 degree reducers. Sold as one clamp.

Usage

Slide the clamp onto the coupler before fitting the pipe, then seat it over solid pipe and tighten evenly. Stop once the silicone is firmly compressed; excessive torque damages the coupler without improving the seal. Weight is around 1 lb packaged.
