ISR Performance Rear Traction Rods - Nissan S13/S14,240,300z

The ISR Performance rear traction rods fit the Nissan S13 and S14 240SX as well as the 300ZX and replace the factory traction links with adjustable versions. The traction rod controls the fore and aft position of the rear knuckle, and on a lowered car the stock rod length pulls the geometry out of its designed range, introducing rear bump steer and uneven toe change through the travel.

What adjustable traction rods fix

By changing rod length you can reset the knuckle position so toe stays stable as the suspension compresses. Drivers notice a car that tracks straight under braking and does not wander over bumps mid-corner. For drift use, dialing traction rod length is a known way to tune how the rear takes load during transitions.

Install notes

Set the rods to factory length initially, tighten pivots at ride height, and verify rear alignment afterward. Any traction rod adjustment changes toe, so plan an alignment after dialing them in.
