ISR Performance Pro Series Coilovers - 90-00 BMW E36

The ISR Performance Pro Series coilovers for the 1990 to 2000 BMW E36 bring adjustable damping and a proper spring rate to a chassis that responds well to suspension work. They are a non-true type setup that keeps the E36's OE rear spring and bucket configuration, pairing front coilover assemblies with separate rear springs and shocks, so installation follows the factory layout rather than requiring rear subframe modification.

Setup Notes

The 6k and 8k spring rates are firm enough for track and autocross use while remaining livable for a dual purpose E36. Start with damping in the middle of the 32 click range and adjust from there based on how the car responds over bumps and in transitions. After setting ride height, have the car aligned, paying particular attention to rear camber and toe, which change noticeably as the E36 rear end is lowered.

These coilovers are intended for competition vehicles only, which may never be registered, licensed, or driven on public streets or highways.
