The ISR Performance stainless steel 3 inch downpipe with flex for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0L Turbo is a full 3 inch stainless downpipe for 2010 and newer cars. It bolts directly to the OEM catalytic converter or an aftermarket test pipe and ships with all gaskets and hardware, so it goes in without any fabrication.

Why the flex section matters

The 2.0T engine rocks on its mounts under load, and a rigid downpipe transmits that motion straight into the welds and flanges. The flex section on this ISR downpipe lets the pipe move with the engine, which protects the joints from cracking and keeps the flanges sealed over the long haul. It is a detail that cheaper downpipes often skip.

Performance benefit

The factory downpipe on the Genesis 2.0T is a notable restriction behind the turbo. A full 3 inch stainless pipe lowers backpressure, improves spool and supports higher boost and power levels. Combined with an ISR 3 inch O2 housing, the exhaust path from the turbine to the cat is open all the way.

Installation
