ISR Performance Solid Steering Shaft Bushing - Nissan S13/S14

The ISR Performance solid steering shaft bushing for the Nissan S13 and S14 replaces the factory bushing that supports the steering column shaft on the 240SX. The stock bushing wears with age and hard use, letting the column move side to side and wiping out the precise, direct steering feel an S-chassis should have. A solid bushing locates the shaft firmly and brings that feel back.

Fitment

Nissan 240SX S13 (1989 to 1994) and S14 (1995 to 1998) steering columns. Compatible with cars running the stock rack as well as those with aftermarket steering angle modifications, since the bushing supports the column shaft rather than the rack.

Install Notes

Access is from under the dash at the column. Note the orientation of the old bushing as it comes out, and check the shaft for scoring before fitting the new one. A solid bushing will transmit a little more road feedback into the wheel than the rubber original, which most drivers on a track or drift car consider a benefit.
