ISR Performance Pro Series Nissan 370Z True Type Coilovers – Z34 09+ / G-Series / Q-Series

The ISR Performance Pro Series true type coilovers for the Nissan 370Z convert the Z34 rear suspension from the factory divorced spring and shock arrangement to a true coilover, with the spring mounted on the damper body. That change opens up the rear geometry and makes ride height and corner weighting far easier to adjust than with a separate spring sitting in the lower arm.

Why true type

The true type configuration replaces the OEM bucket arm. Paired with adjustable rear toe arms, it allows much greater control over rear suspension geometry when the car is lowered, which is what makes it the preferred layout for drift, time attack and aggressive stance builds. For daily use the damping adjusters let you soften the car back down for the commute.

Recommended pairing

Because the true type rear removes the bucket arm, ISR recommends adding rear toe arms for the 370Z, G35 Sedan, G37 Sedan, Q40 and Q60 so rear toe can be set correctly at the new ride height. Have the car aligned after installation and again once the springs have settled.
