ISR Performance Pro Series Coilovers - Nissan 350z Z33

The ISR Performance Pro Series coilovers for the Nissan 350Z Z33 are a true-type coilover kit, which sets them apart from most 350Z suspension options. The factory Z33 rear uses a separate shock and spring. This kit replaces that layout with a true coilover in the rear, where the spring sits on the damper, giving you far more control over rear damping and ride height than a divorced setup allows.

True-type rear: what to know

Because the rear coilover takes the place of the original shock and spring, the factory spring bucket is no longer used. To run this setup you will need the rear bucket delete toe arm. In trade, you gain much more control over damping in the rear of the car and can set the suspension to your liking rather than working around a separate spring.

Street and track

ISR describes the 350Z Pro coilovers as a setup suited to both street and track use, providing a comfortable ride while improving handling. The 14K/12K rates are on the firm side, which fits a true-type rear where the spring now acts directly on the damper, and the wide damping range lets you back the car off for the street.

Install note
