Fitment

Rear wheel drive Nissan SR20DET engines, as found in the S13 and S14 Silvia and 180SX and commonly swapped into the USDM 240SX. This is the lower pan only; it bolts to the upper oil pan with the factory pattern.

Install Considerations

Drain the oil, remove the old lower pan and clean every trace of old sealant from the upper pan mating surface before fitting the new pan. Use a fresh bead of oil resistant RTV, tighten the perimeter bolts evenly in a cross pattern and allow the sealant to cure before refilling with oil. If the old pan was crushed hard enough to contact the pickup, inspect the pickup tube and gasket while you have access.
