ISR Performance Oil filter Relocation Sandwich Plate

The ISR Performance oil filter relocation sandwich plate installs between the engine block and the oil filter and provides 10AN ports for an oil cooler or remote filter, with a built-in thermostat that keeps oil bypassing the cooler until it reaches operating temperature. That thermostat is the detail that makes it suitable for street use: oil warms up normally in cold weather and only flows through the cooler once it is hot.

Install notes

Confirm the thread pitch of your block's filter stud against the included adapter before installation, since Nissan used more than one pitch across engine families. Use a filter that matches the adapter thread, tighten the plate per the manufacturer's instructions, and check for leaks at both the plate-to-block and filter-to-plate faces after the first heat cycle. Route 10AN lines with gentle bends and away from exhaust heat.
