ISR Performance Clutch Line - Mazda Miata 89-92
Give the early NA a more direct clutch pedal with the ISR Performance clutch line for the 1989 to 1992 Mazda Miata. It replaces the original factory clutch hose, which by now is decades old on most cars, with a fresh line that does not balloon under pedal pressure.
Every hydraulic clutch depends on the line between master and slave holding its shape. The original Miata hose was fine when new, but age and heat make rubber soft, and a soft hose absorbs part of each pedal stroke. Drivers notice it as a vague engagement point, a pedal that feels different hot versus cold, or a clutch that will not fully release at the top of the stroke. A fresh, stiffer line fixes that for very little money and effort.
This is a straightforward swap for the factory line. Have fresh brake fluid on hand, since the clutch circuit shares the same type of fluid, and bleed the slave cylinder until the pedal is firm. Check for leaks at both ends after a short drive.
If you are already in there, a new slave cylinder or master cylinder rebuild turns this into a complete clutch hydraulic refresh for the early Miata.
All ISR Performance products are designed for off-road use only.
